What does it take to become a Tornado Chaser?

I have wanted to become a tornado chaser since I was five years old. I love storms and most of all, tornadoes. I am graduating from high school this year. What do I have to do to become a tornado chaser? Obviously I will have to get training and go to College, but what type of college? Where would I find out information? Do you have to be good at math? What are all the things I have to do?
Please help!

A degree in meteorology. Check colleges and universities for a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. They will have a degree plan and you will see what courses are required. I would think math would be very important as that field uses mathematical models to predict future events. Probably some statistics too.

Once you select the colleges/university they will tell you what is needed to acquire admittance.

Chase tornadoes with a camera, get lucky.

If you want to legitimately study them, go into meteorology.

well to be a tornado chaser you might want to live in a place that has a lot of tornadoes. (tornado valley for instance) to be considered one you have to have some equipment like radars and things in that matter. also you might want to have a year of college meteorology under your belt. also, be safe. dont go close or anything. you could probobly find a meteorology site online. try using google. good luck!
