My sister lives on the 2nd floor of her apartment complex and has a 3 year old daughter. She is handicapped and to sum it up, she can not grip or hold onto a ladder, let alone, carry her daughter down it. Any suggestions/alternatives to a fire escape ladder for young ones or handicapped people in case there a fire and their only way out is the balcony?
