I know that aliens is the proper name, but for some people that may offend. Illegal immigrants. Foreigners. Emigrants. Something other than a word that makes you think of green, big-eyed evil thing with tentacles. And obviously. If their hopping the border they will probably either get caught and get checked for symptoms, or cross the border some way and then spread the flu to wherever they get to.
Most likely they are not. The cases of swine flu in the US have been introduced by people (including non-Hispanics) who recently visited Mexico.

First, I did not know that "Mexican" had a border.
Second, if illegals are hopping anything it is the Mexico – U.S. border. If they hopped the U.S. – Mexico border then they would back in Mexico not the U.S.
Third, illegals that hopped the border are not screened for anything, no back round check or paperwork.
Fourth, the cases of swine flu in the U.S. have been by visitors to Mexico, returning to the U.S. I doubt land mines would have ceased all cases of swine flu.
I don’t think that the coyotes are giving them full medical checkups before bringing them over.
