What do you expect with FSX???

I agree. Lousy reconstruction. You missed the whole cause of the crash….the engine separation.

where did u get the dc 10

  7. nahohs says:

That was a fake crash. The left engine should come off and there should be no sound from engine and fall on left very quickly. And that I can still here No.1 engine power is shutting down and you were banking left with controller.

Oh and btw, when the DC-10 hit the ground, it was nearly upside down. There are pictures of this out there. And NO, i’m sure the pilot was NOT trained to handle this exact situation. How do you handle complete engine loss resulting in catastrophic hydraulic rupture leading to premature retraction of one set of flaps/slats? Well, as this case proves, you probably dont=(

  10. mslattebo says:

Ok….Flight 191 didn’t just lose power. The engine ripped from the pylon, flew over the wing, and smashed down on the runway. This ruptured hydraulic lines which, it is believed, caused the slats and flaps of one wing to retract, while the others stayed set at takeoff settings. This would have caused the roll in the aircraft that sent it crashing into the ground.
